What’s Freedom Kitchen you may ask?

Freedom Kitchen is a new pilot outreach project  in Lower Sackville through Knox United Church, providing free meals to those in need with the main target being youth every Monday night. Freedom Kitchen started October 7th 2019 and was supposed to end April 27th 2020 , but Covid-19 hit the world and we were asked to stay out during the state of emergency as an essential service. we continue our service every Monday night from 4:30-6pm out of the Knox United Church side parking lot. We are in the process of Building  permanent structure where we will prepare and serve meals directly out of. As well as provide free clothes and toiletries from.
