Food Hamper Program

Dear Sackville Community,

As of December 5, 2025, Freedom Kitchen will no longer be offering the Food Hamper Program. This is a very difficult decision as we know how many families in the community are experiencing food insecurity right now, however as a small volunteer based organization, we are no able to meet the demand.

Freedom Kitchen will continue to provide a free Monday Meal from 4-5:30pm, Food Rescue (Monday, Thursday, Saturday after 11am), and Clothing by reaching out to us.

Cobequid Food Security Network

This December, the Cobequid Food Security Network Monthly Market will not be held in its usual format. Instead, we are offering a pre-ordered produce bag for $10. Each purchase includes a $15 gift card redeemable at future markets, plus a selection of fresh, locally sourced produce. Orders will be delivered to your chosen pick-up location, making it easy and convenient to support local growers during the holiday season.

Pick-up date is December 17, 2025. Times are subject to change. You will be emailed to confirm your pickup time.
